OverviewHow to OnboardUse Case DiagramSequence DiagramClass DiagramComponent DiagramDeployment Diagram

1. Getting your account

New workers don't self-register. HR or Admin creates your Person → Worker → Employment → Assignment record in the system and issues you sign-in credentials. Once you have credentials, sign in at /auth/signin — every other route requires an authenticated session.

2. Complete your profile

From My Employment → My Profile, review your personal details, and fill in anything missing: emergency contacts, dependents, addresses, and bank account details (used for payroll). Accuracy here matters — payroll, benefits enrollment, and compliance workflows all read from this profile.

3. Work through your onboarding checklist

If you're a new hire, HR assigns you an onboarding plan with preboarding and day-one/30/60/90 tasks. Track and complete these from the Onboarding section of your dashboard — items typically include document acknowledgement, equipment/asset assignment, and policy sign-off.

4. Learn your role's navigation

The sidebar adapts to your role. Here's what to expect from each:

  • Employee (ESS):Home, My Employment, Time & Attendance, Leave & Requests, Pay & Benefits, Growth & Development, and Support & Resources (company documents, policies, helpdesk, and this documentation).
  • Manager (MSS): everything an Employee has for themselves, plus a Manager Space and People Management section — pending approvals, team attendance, team performance, and recruitment for direct reports.
  • HR Manager:the Manager view, extended with organization-wide People & Core HR, Talent & Growth, and Finance & Benefits sections (payroll, compensation, contracts).
  • Admin:full access, plus Platform Admin tools — roles & access, eligibility rules, integrations, data quality, and system reliability.

5. Day-to-day essentials

  • Attendance: log clock-in/out from Time & Attendance.
  • Leave: check your balance and submit requests from Leave & Absence — your manager is notified automatically and approves or rejects from Pending Approvals.
  • Payslips: view and download from Pay & Benefits once payroll runs each period.
  • Help: raise a ticket from Helpdesk, or check Company Documents & Policies first — most process questions are answered there.
